Welcome to ELD Placement Testing

This test is only for people wishing to take English Language Development classes. Use this page to register for the placement test called ELDPT.

The test includes four sections: writing (30 minutes), speaking (15 minutes), reading (about 30 minutes), and listening (about 30 minutes). For some test takers, the reading and listening sections will be on a computer. Please bring headphones.
